Service Description

This season, join us in the studio for a unique experience that combines creativity, nostalgia, and the joy of holiday traditions. This 2 hour handbuilding workshop welcomes all skill levels to sculpt your very own gingerbread house out of air-dry clay so you can take it home the same day! No prior experience necessary- our instructors are here to guide you through every step of the way, kindle your holiday spirit and bring out your creative side! You will build your gingerbread house using air dry clay, and be able to add windows, cut-outs, and any other festive designs you can think of. After the workshop, you will take your creation home to dry and paint. We recommend acrylic craft paint, and will have some available for sale in the studio if needed. No firing or glazing is needed and thus not included in this workshop, as we will be working with air-dry clay. If you'd like your finished piece to have a strong & shiny finish, we recommend clear shellac spray.
